In addition to the protection for Personal Accident, this Plan will cover Annual Travel and Golfers Protection. Customer must enrol in at least two protection items in the Plan. In addition to Personal Accident Protection (A) which is compulsory, customer can opt for (B) Annual Travel Protection and/or (C) Golfers Protection.

Up to 30% No-Claim Premium Discount on Renewal
If no claim has been filed during the insured period, you can enjoy the following premium discounts for each consecutive renewal year:
  > 1st renewal year : 10% premium discount
  > 2nd renewal year : 15% premium discount
  > 3rd renewal year : 20% premium discount
  > 4th renewal year: 25% premium discount
  > 5th or above renewal year: 30% premium discount
"No-claim premium discount on renewal" is applicable to the whole policy
If the policy is insured under the name of a Company3, change of the insured person4 upon renewal will not affect the "No-claim premium discount on renewal"
     
Instant Approval and Auto-renewal Service
If your application is approved instantly and each coverage item is confirmed to be effective, under normal circumstances, the policy will be issued around 10 working days upon receipt of application by BOCG Insurance
In respect of each policy year, if you do not receive any notice of amendment of renewal terms from BOCG Insurance prior to the expiration of the policy year, your policy will be automatically renewed simply by settling the required premium for the upcoming policy year

2. The "Outbound Travel Alert (OTA) System" was set up by the Security Bureau of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("Hong Kong"), which covers countries which are often the travel destinations for Hong Kong residents and uses amber, red and black signals to differentiate among different levels of risk, with an aim to help Hong Kong residents better understand the risk or threat to personal safety while traveling abroad.
3. If the policy is insured under the name of a Company and insured person has more than one, each insured person has to individually apply for the insurance.
4. The insured person replaced must make the declaration to BOCG Insurance that all answers in the "Stated information for this Proposal Form" are "No".

Eligibility:
Any legal resident(s) ordinarily residing in Hong Kong, who is a managerial executive (including business and/or staff management) of non manual work and aged between 18 and 75 years old.



Major Exclusions (For more details and other exclusions, please refer to the provisions of the policy):
All Protection items: Pre-existing illnesses, physical defects, suicide, pregnancy, AIDS; act of war, civil commotion, act of terrorism; professional sports competition; influence of alcohol, drug addiction; traveling for the purpose of studying, migration; business trip involving any dangerous assignments, projects or occupation of a manual nature.
Golfers Protection: Any person with the occupation as golfer, failure to provide certificate of proof from a recognised golf club1 for achieving a hole-in-one, loss or damage of golfing equipment caused by or resulting from wear and tear or deterioration.

Notes:
1. Recognised golf club: means any recognised golf club with a golf course that has 18 holes and 72 pars or above.



Notes for making a claim:
The insured should give a written notice to BOCG Insurance as soon as possible in case of any claims.
In case of any burglary / theft / robbery or any similar attempt, please report to the police immediately.
In case of any loss of money or property, the insured and/or insured person must report to the police at the place of loss within 24 hours of discovery and obtain a report.
The insured and/or insured person must give a written notice to BOCG Insurance and submit the following documents, at his/her own expense, as soon as possible within 30 days after occurrence of the claim event: description of the event with full particulars, list of damaged/loss items, repair or replacement quote and other relevant documents.
Any writ, summons or other legal proceedings issued or commenced against the insured and/or insured person must be immediately delivered to BOCG Insurance for processing.
The insured and/or insured person must not make commitment or pay any compensation to any third party without the written consent from BOCG Insurance.
The insured and/or insured person must not dispose of or replace any damaged insured items without the written consent from BOCG Insurance.

The Plan is underwritten by BOCG Insurance.
Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, Nanyang Commercial Bank Limited and Chiyu Banking Corporation Limited are the agents of BOCG Insurance.

1. Who is eligible to apply for "Executive Comprehensive Protection Plan" (the "Plan")?
All legal residents ordinarily residing in Hong Kong SAR aged between 18 and 75, who are managerial executive (including business and/or staff management) of non manual work are eligible to apply for the Plan.
2. What are the advantages of a one-stop comprehensive protection policy, compared with individual insurance policies?
One-stop comprehensive protection policy covers the protection for personal accident, annual travel and golfers under one single policy, saving you from the hassle of managing more than one policy. The total premium of a comprehensive protection policy is also relatively competitive.
3. What are the application requirements for the Plan?
The insured must apply for Personal Accident Protection under the Plan before applying for the Annual Travel and/or Golfers Protection under the Plan.
4. What are the differences between "Personal Accident Protection" in the Plan and those personal accident insurance generally available in the market?
The calculation of premium for general individual personal accident insurance in the market is based on the occupation of insured person. However, the Plan enables you to select sum insured at your own choice and offer you with fixed premium rates calculated regardless of your occupation*, which saves you more premium and give you total convenience.

*Not applicable to the occupations excluded by Bank of China Group Insurance Company Limited ("BOCG Insurance")
5. What are the minimum and maximum sum insured for "Personal Accident Protection"?
The minimum sum insured is HK$2,000,000 per annum and the maximum sum insured does not exceed HK$10,000,000 per annum. Every HK$1,000,000 is served as an additional sum insured unit, if the sum insured exceeds HK$10,000,000 per annum, the negotiation of premium rate needed separately.
6. Will the insured person's personal notebook computer be covered under the "Annual Travel Protection"?
Yes, "baggage and personal effects" under the "Annual Travel Protection" can be extended to cover the loss or damage to the insured person's personal notebook computer as a result of theft or robbery during the journey.
7. Will the "Annual Travel Protection" protect me from any loss resulting from the Hong Kong SAR Government issuing a "Black Alert" for my scheduled destination?
Yes, the insured person will be protected against the issuance of the "Black Alert" in the following situations:

(1) Prior the journey:
If the "Black Alert" has been issued for the insured person's scheduled destination prior to the departure date, resulting in cancellation of the journey, the insured person will receive compensation for prepaid non-refundable deposits and expenses. However, the insured person can only benefit from this protection if the "Black Alert" has not been issued by Hong Kong SAR Government for the scheduled destination prior to the insured person's confirmation of booking of the scheduled journey.
(2) During the journey:
The issuance of a "Black Alert" for the scheduled destination during the journey

** Remarks:
  In the event of curtailment of journey and delayed of journey happened concurrently, each insured person will receive HK$1,000 cash allowance only.

 

8. Does the "Annual Travel Protection" protect me from any loss of my property due to burglary at my home while I am travelling?
Yes, under the "Annual Travel Protection", the insured person will be compensated for the loss of or damage to home contents due to burglary at his/her unoccupied home during the journey. The maximum amounts payable per journey is HK$10,000, and up to HK$3,000 per home content.
9. Is there any geographical limitation on "Golfers Protection"?
No, this protection provides worldwide coverage.
10. How can I obtain "hole-in-one" celebration expenses?
The insured person must accomplish a "hole in one" at any recognised golf club during the period of insurance and such achievement must be certified and evidenced by a certificate issued by a recognised golf club in accordance with the normal practice.
11. What is a recognised golf club?
Recognised golf club means any golf club with a golf course that has 18 holes and 72 par or above.
12. When do I need to make a claim when an accident claim arises?
You should give a written notice to BOCG Insurance as soon as possible and within 30 days upon occurrence of the claim event and provide all the relevant documents as prescribed by BOCG Insurance from time to time.
13. Do I need to renew the policy upon its expiry?
No, after successful enrollment for a policy, your policy will be renewed automatically upon successful payment of the premium for the next policy year provided you have not received any notification from BOCG Insurance of any amendment to the terms and/or premium of the policy before the expiry date of every policy year.
14. Is there a minimum premium for the Plan?
